A reading copyTwenty five dollars

A reading copy exists so that you can read the play, share it with a director or a selection committee, and decide whether it belongs in your season or your syllabus.

A performance licenceQuoted per production

A licence is the permission to put the play in front of an audience. It names the venue, the dates, and the number of performances, and it is agreed separately from the script order.

Buying a script, or buying the printed collection, never carries performance rights with it. Write with your production and a quotation comes back.

An alternative

Four plays in one book

If you want to read several plays at once, the printed collection may serve you better than four separate scripts. When Churchyards Yawn and Other Plays gathers four recent works with a foreword by Chuck Fager and contextual material for actors, directors and educators.

Not sure which titles to ask for

Thirteen plays

The catalogue lists every play with its cast size, running time and subject, and lets you star the ones you like so you can request them all in one message.

For educators

Review copies

Teachers considering a play for a course can ask for a review copy rather than buying one. Say what you teach, the level of the class, and the term you are planning for, and the right material will come back with it.

Where to send the payment

The payment page carries the current ways to pay, for scripts, for licence fees, and for private study. Send the request first, or send both together, whichever is easier.
