A biopic about the first US Congresswoman, featuring Judd Nelson in a supporting role. Joni Mitchell gave both Woodstock and The Circle Game. Contributors included Peter Coyote, Karen Black, Frances Fisher, Mimi Kennedy, Elizabeth Peña, and Margot Kidder.

The final scene showed bread transforming into a baby, played by the filmmaker’s grandson, Casey Joel. As Rankin said: civilization needs peace as bread needs yeast.
