Written as a response to the October 2002 Afghanistan bombings, and premiered on 7 February 2004 in Fallon, Nevada. Cameron Crain played Everyman in the first production; Neal Mayer took the role in New York.

Solo performances continued for more than 250 further shows with various Everyman interpretations. It won Best Theatrical Surprise from Sacramento News and Review, and Jeanmarie performed it at CalArts as a Surdna Distinguished Guest Artist.
